About Me

Dear Parents or Guardians,

Welcome back to Trailblazer Elementary!  I hope that you had a wonderful summer, and I am very excited to have your child in my class this year.  This is my seventh year teaching.  I want our classroom to be a safe and fun environment for your child to learn in.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Regis University.  I am a Colorado native and enjoy everything that Colorado has to offer.  In the winter, I spend most of my free time skiing and taking in the beauty of the Colorado snow.  My family lives in Sedalia, Colorado, where I have two sisters and a younger brother. This summer I spent a lot of time with my family traveling to see the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Park. It was beautiful trip hiking and camping, and one that I will remember for years to come.  I am excited to learn about what your child likes to do and did this summer.

Over the course of our first week, students will be creating the norms of our classroom. I expect students to understand and review these norms with you.  We will discuss what it means to be safe, respectful, and responsible at school.

Please call me with any questions, or concerns.  If you are interested in volunteering in our classroom, please let me know.  I am looking forward to hearing from you and working together with you to support your child’s academic progress.  Thank you for all that you do to help your child succeed.   I look forward to a great year!

  Sincerely,  Kelsie Peachey
